KATHRIN B. BUCHERT
I am currently walking on new paths and enjoy the flowers and plants at Daglfinger Blumenhof, where I work part-time.
A job that doesn't allow me to hide behind a desk or be trapped in endless meetings. Instead, it puts the consumer at the center of the attention - and me right in front of him and her. The benefit of this role: the feeling of pure self-efficacy when I managed to make them smile. Next to the consumer, I focus on the flowers and plants - and highlight their beauty on social media.
With over 20 years of professional experience in brand marketing, I have developed a holistic view and entrepreneurial attitude. My working style is characterized by a high sense of responsibility, decisiveness and a hands-on attitude.
Hands-on thanks to the fact that I am a creative "Bastelwastel" at heart myself. At the same time though, I believe in good structures and processes, and I'm therefore always looking to create them. Apparently a good approach, or as one of my previous managers put it: "...she contributed big time to our successes..."
This website serves as a supplement to my CV, intended to provide a few more insights into my diverse and international set of work experiences.

MY CAREER
I started my career as a trainee at adidas in Amsterdam and then stayed for 14 years in various functions at adidas in Germany. For the longest time I was responsible for the global communication of Porsche Design Sport by adidas, a collaboration with Porsche Design. This role has brought a ton of in-depth experience from actively managing all brand marketing activities to working with international photographers and agencies.
Leaving the global player, I moved on to the German sock manufacturer FALKE – a well-established family business. As Head of Marketing for the sports and fashion segment, it was a highlight to create the anniversary campaign for the company’s 125th birthday.
At SUNOTEC, I had the opportunity to dive into the renewables and accompanied the photovoltaic company on its journey from start-up to a corporate organization. I enjoyed developing a dedicated employee engagement campaign involving over 50 colleagues from the head office and construction sites across Europe. The outcome allowed them to feel valued and build a strong bond with their employer - and strengthened the company's positive image amongst potential future employees.
In my career, I was accountable for the entire scope of brand marketing activities, from creative concepts to photo and video productions, from social media and digital to PR, from internal communications to ambassador activities, events and trade shows.
